Who we are
Empowered Insights is a survivor-led organisation that supports people affected by domestic abuse. If you have a question about your information, email louise@empoweredinsights.co.uk.
What we collect, and why
- When you contact us. If you use our contact or enquiry form, we collect your name, email and your message, only so we can reply to you.
- Website analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful. It is privacy-first and does not use cookies, and it does not identify you.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our host keeps basic technical logs (such as the time of a request) to keep the site secure and running.
Cookies
We don’t use tracking or advertising cookies. The only thing we store on your device is a small setting that remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. That’s it, which is why you won’t see a cookie pop-up.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails only as long as we need them to help you or to keep a record we’re required to. We don’t sell your information, and we never share it for marketing.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just get in touch and we’ll help. If you’re ever unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
