About Us
Lived experience. Professional impact.
We help people affected by domestic abuse, and we work to stop it happening in the first place. We do that through education, honest conversation, and a clearer understanding of what abuse really looks like.

Why we exist
Our founder’s story
“Empowered Insights started with a simple belief: awareness has the power to change lives.”
I’m Louise. I’m a survivor of domestic abuse, coercive control and narcissistic abuse, so I know first-hand how hard it can be to see what’s happening, make sense of it, and find the right help. I also know how much it matters when someone finally listens and responds in the right way.
For years I thought about my own experience, and about the gaps I kept seeing in education, awareness and the way professionals respond. I couldn’t rewrite my own story. But I could use it to help build something better for other people. That became Empowered Insights.
What drives us
Vision, mission & impact
Our vision
A world where people know what a healthy relationship feels like, survivors are helped to rebuild with confidence and dignity, and the people around them know how to recognise abuse and respond.
Our mission
To help people spot the signs early, to prevent abuse through education, and to give survivors the confidence and the practical help they need to rebuild their lives.
The difference we want to make
We want to help break the cycle of abuse for good. Everyone deserves to live without fear or control, and we believe communities change when awareness does.
