Preparing young people for life beyond school

Why early education is one of the most powerful tools we have to prevent abuse.

Life Beyond School: preparing young people for life beyond school

Schools are often the safest place where the signs are first noticed, which makes them one of the most important places to start.

Through our Life Beyond School programme, delivered in partnership with Soundproof Box, we bring creative workshops, interactive theatre and engaging talks into schools and colleges. Our founder, Louise Sherwood, is a fully licensed Soundproof Box trainer.

What we help young people do

  • Recognise healthy and unhealthy relationships
  • Understand consent, respect and boundaries
  • Challenge harmful gender stereotypes and misogyny
  • Build the confidence to speak out and seek help

Sessions are designed for young people aged 7 and up, are PSHE-aligned and safeguarding-focused and are delivered in a trauma-informed way, safe, supportive and age-appropriate.

Early intervention, awareness and trauma-informed responses can make a life-changing difference.

Bring it to your setting

We work with head teachers, pastoral leads, safeguarding teams, senior leadership and student support staff to create safer education settings where young people feel heard, supported and able to speak out.
